What are the two main types of reproduction
Sexual reproduction and asexual reproduction
What is reproduction
The production of new members of a species, replacing those who died
What is sexual reproduction
It involves two parents who have sex organs which produce sex cells
What is asexual reproduction
Reproduction that involves one parent and no sex cells
Name the parts of the male sex organs
Sperm duct, penis, scrotum, testes and urethra
Name the parts of the female sex organs
Ovary, uterus, vagina, oviduct(egg tube), cervix and the Fallopian tube
why does a pregnant mother have to be careful about what she takes into her body
A baby is entirely dependent on its mother during pregnancy. Some harmful substances can also pass across the placenta with serious effects on the developing baby
