The primary male reproductive
organs are the
Testes
Responsible for the production
of the sperm cells.

Leydig and Sertoli Cells
Where the sperm cells mature and gain the ability to move and fertilize eggs.
Epididymis
A muscular tube that uses peristaltic contractions to move sperm from the epididymis to the prostatic urethra.
Vas Deferens
Glands that are responsible for the production of fluid that makes up part of semen.
Seminal Vesicles
Responsible for the production of fluid that makes up part of semen.
Prostate Gland
Is a tube in the urinary system that connects the bladder to the outside of the body and allows urine to pass. It also carries semen during ejaculation.
Urethra
Male sexual organ that is primarily used in urination and
sexual intercourse.
Penis
These are the primary female
reproductive organs.
Ovaries
It is known as oviducts. These tubes serve as a pathway for the egg to travel from the ovary to the uterus.
Fallopian Tubes
It is where the fertilized egg
develops into a fetus during
pregnancy. It also has a thick and muscular wall that expands during pregnancy
Uterus (womb)
A lower part of the uterus that
connects to the vagina, and it dilates during childbirth for the baby to pass through
Cervix
Includes the mos pubis, labia majora, labia minora, clitoris glans, and vagina.
External Genitalia (Vulva)
It is a canal that connects the
cervix to the vulva. It also serves as the birthcanal, and a passage of menstrual fluid.
Vagina
These glands are located on the side of the vaginal opening. It secretes a lubricating fluid to
reduce friction during intercourse.
Bartholin’s Glands
It is commonly known as a period. Your uterus
lining sheds and flows out of your vagina.
Menstruation
Starts on the first day of your period and lasts for 13 to 14 days, ending in ovulation.
Follicular Phase
It is when a mature egg is
released from an ovary and
moves along a fallopian tube
towards your uterus.
Ovulation
It begins after you ovulate. The
progesterone level increase, which will help thicken the lining of your uterus.
Luteal Phase
It can infect both men and women, and it can spread
through vaginal, anal, or oral sex.
Chlamydia
It can infect the mucous membranes of the reproductive tract, including the cervix, uterus, and fallopian tubes
in women, and the urethra
in women and men.
Gonorrhea
spread through skin-to-skin
contact, usually during
sexual intercourse, including
vaginal, anal, and oral sex. It
can also be spread through
skin-to-skin contact in the
genital region, even if there
is no sex.
