1. Have Patient assume a sitting position with forearms supported by pillow.
2. Instruct to inhale slowly through the mouth while breathing deeply from the diaphragm.
3. Hold breath for 2-3 seconds
4. Forcefully exhale quickly as if trying to fog a mirror
5. Repeat 2-4 (X2)
6. cough when mucus is felt in tubes
7. Rest for 5-10 breaths
8. Repeat until mucus is cleared.
