Q

What is DCPIP?

A
  • a redox indicator dye, alternate electron acceptor instead of NADP
  • turns blue to colourless when reduced

Q

Why is the plant extract chilled?

A

to lower enzyme activity that could break down/hydrolyse chloroplasts

Q

How is light intensity controlled?

A
  • measuring distance of lamp
  • darker rom, so only light source is the lamp
