Difference between cerebral palsy and Parkinson’s

A

Parkinson’s
- in brain
- dopamine deficiency
= acetylcholine predominates giving symptoms
- medication = anticholinergic

Cerebral palsy
- non progressive lesion in ganglia (out brain)
- medication = diazepam
- effects = muscle stiffness, spastic or floppiness, increased reflexes
