What should you do

• if the child is believed to have gillic compitence you should follow the child decision and try to incorporate the parents and professional involved in pt palataive care ( nurses)
• if PT doesn’t have gillic competence allow PT to change the plan but also involve palative care staff + document

You attend a PT with suspected Syncopy event - what history should you gain

- general circumstances ( position, activity)
- pradome ( sweaty nausea heat fear pain)
- any inclination ( aura = to tingling lightheaded )
- any incling that there gonna faint
- did they try to grab anything or just fall
- any periods illness or trauma (head)
- do they normally feel dizzy standing

During
- if standing ( fall how )
- colour, appearance ( seizure activity)
- did they try to grab anything or drop
- duration of LOC

Post
- any prior loc
- how quick was recovery
- any new injury + any blood thinner usage

Do a review of systems

12 lead ECG + h2t + posteal drop test + mobility test
