What does Halstead’s test test for
Nerve tension
What does Wright’s test test for
Impingement by pec minor
What does Military brace test for?
Costoclavicular impingement
Tests for the lower back and hips

FABER test
A ROM test which uses the figure-4 position
Patrick’s test
Patient enters figure-4 position, then pressure is applied to the hip and knee to test the integrity of the SI joint

Drawer, collateral ligaments, Homan’s sign compression
Thomas test application
Patient sits on foot of table with their hands behind their thigh. They then roll onto their back and the therapist observes the angles of their leg. Compared for asymmetry
An upward pointing thigh in the Thomas test indicates what?
Tight iliopsoas
An upward pointing foot in the Thomas test indicates what?
Tight hamstrings
Scouring test
Similar to an Appley’s compression test, but is for the hip. The hip is in a flexed position and pressure is applied downwards into the hip joint before grinding the hip around.
A scouring test tests for what?
The joint condition of the hip join
Feagin’s test tests for what?
GH instability
