a specified amount of money that the insured must pay before an insurance company will pay a claim
What is a network?
large group of physicians, hospitals, and other health care providers that have agreed to provide medical services to a health insurance plan’s members at discounted costs
What is out-of-pocket maximum?
The most you have to pay for covered services in a plan year
What is a premium?
Financial cost of obtaining an insurance cover, paid as a lump sum or in installments during the duration of the policy. A failure to pay premium when due automatically cancels the insurance policy
