Who were the provisional government
A group of liberal middle class men who would run the country until elections could be organized to how Russia was to be ruled.
What was another body that the provisional government had to share power with
The soviets. They couldn’t carry out decisions with approval from the Soviets

Mixture of workers and soldiers who created a committee the soviets to represent al their interests.

they issued order 1 who gave them control of the armed forces in petrograd.

He was the one who helped convinced the duma to forme a provisional government which he became minister of justice for and also joined the Petrograd soviets
What 2 issues did the provisional government face
Land and the first world war
Why did the provisional government continue the war
They would pay a heavy price if they wanted to make peace and needed to keep the allies on their good side if they wanted to redevelop Russia. But this made the people angry food and fuel were still in shortage
What was the issue with provisional government and land
Peasants were overjoyed now that the tsar was gone they could have their land, but the provisional government thought a properly elected government should do it. This was bc. they worried a free for all land distributiion may lead to the dissolution of the army as many soldiers were peasants who would want grabs. However peasants continued on and grabbed whatever land they wanted.
