Q

Hvor mange ledd har skulderen, og hvilke av disse er ekte/falske?

A
The five joints of the shoulder. Right shoulder, anterior view. There are three true shoulder joints and two functional articulations. True joints: Art. sternoclavicularis (sternoclavicular joint), Art. acromioclavicularis (acromioclavicular joint), Art. humeri (glenohumeral joint). Functional articulations: Subacromial space: a space lined with bursae (bursa subacromialis and bursa subdeltoidea) that allows gliding between the acromion and the rotator cuff and the scapulothoracic joint: loose connective tissue between the mm. subscapularis and serratus anterior that allows gliding of the scapula on the chest wall.

Q

Hvilke skader definerer klassifiserer man innen Tossy-systemet?

A
Injuries to the acromioclavicular ligaments (ligg. acromioclaviculares). Often resulting from falling on a shoulder or an outstretched arm Tossy classified them into three types. Tossy I: The ligg. acromioclaviculare and coracoclaviculare are stretched but still intact. Tossy II: The lig. acromioclaviculare is ruptured, with subluxation of the joint. Tossy III: Ligaments are all disrupted, with complete dislocation of the art. acromioclavicularis.
