community definition
is a group of people who share social relationships through being geographically close or being in regular contact, and having similarities such as mutual interests or shared ideologies.

is the increase in the proportion of people living in towns and cities. Urbanisation occurs because people move from rural areas (countryside) to urban areas (towns and cities).

a feature of villages and small towns, Gemeinschaft communities are those which are bound together in a tightly knit pattern, which is socially homogeneous and based on a clear-cut piece of territory.
gesellschaft definition
descriptive of post-Industrial, urban communities, Gesellschaft societies are characterised by weak interpersonal relationships based on people who come together by choice, usually for specific, practical, and self-interest-based reasons, such as work.
