Ventricular septal defect (VSD) soplo?
holosystolic murmur at left lower sternal border and a mid-diastolic murmur at apex ± systolic thrill
ventricular septal defect (VSD), the most common type of congenital heart defect.
soplo + consencuencia de coartacion aortica?
- systolic ejection murmur over the left paravertebral region and/or
-continuous murmur below the left clavicula and between the shoulder blades.
can cause cerebral aneurysms
aortic coarcation x rays?
rib notching on x-ray
classic “3” sign created by indentation of the aorta is suggestive of what pathology? Coarctation of the aorta
brachiocephalic hypertension (e.g., headache, epistaxis)
Doppler echocardiography is the test of choice for diagnosing aortic coarctation.
systolic ejection murmur at the left upper sternal border + S2 fixed (no change with respiration) and widely split
dx?
Atrial septal defect
harsh holosystolic murmur in left lower sternal border
dx?
ventricular septal defect
