What are the indicators for a Stage 4?
If there are equal legs and upper cervical radiation, it could be Stage 4
What is the personality of a Stage 4?
Beliefs, conditioning, perception of reality
What are the requirements of a Stage 4?
short leg or even legs
Head Turning Test - counterpressure but short leg stays short Difficult adduction, Foot flair, head appears to be side bent
What is different with the Stage 4 head turning test??
There is counter pressure (pistoning) but the short leg STAYS SHORT (if equal or longer is a Stage 2)
What else might you see with a Stage 4?
Difficult adduction
Foot flare
Head appears to be side bent
Where is the radiation, contact and challenge for a Stage 4?
C2/(C3) NB contact can be anywhere on the vertebrae, not necessarily the SLS .Torque to secondary radiation.
Kindy says if you challenge C2 and adduction gets easier, it’s a Stage 4
