All ideas from previous stage are sifted through and the best ideas are take forward were a specification is written
Prototype production
This is when an example of what the product will look like is made
Product testing
This is when the product is tested on a range of consumers so an opinion can be obtained, this helps to eliminate or make refinements to the product
First production run
This is when a full production run is complete so the product can be tested, the quality assurance team will asses the production run for quality and standard of the product
Marketing plan
This is when an advertising campaign is designed to promote the product, decisions will be made based apron the 4 P’s (Price, packing, place, promotion)
Product launch
This is an important stage of the plan as the item is now on sale, market monitoring of the product will take place so sales figures will be checked carefully and market research will allow regular feedback
