First consideration
As soon as any stall indication (aural warning, buffet, etc) is recognized, apply the immediate actions.
First two steps
NOSE DOWN PITCH CONTROL - APPLY
BANK - WINGS LEVEL
Second consideration
Pitch down will reduce angle of attack
Note: In case of lack of pitch down authority, reducing thrust may be necessary.
When out of stall (no longer stall indications) steps
THRUST - INCREASE SMOOTHLY AS NEEDED
SPEEDBRAKES - CHECK RETRACTED
FLIGHT PATH - RECOVER SMOOTHLY
When out of stall (no longer stall indications) considerations
Note: Incase of one engine inoperative, progressively compensate the thrust asymmetry with rudder.
If in clean configuration and below 20,000’ steps
FLAP 1 - SELECT
If in clean configuration and below 20,000’ considerations
Note: if a risk of ground contact exists, once clearly out of stall (no longer indications), establish smoothly a positive climb gradient.
