People in this career cluster might do scientific research in laboratories or in the field. Others may plan or design products or systems. Or, you may do work that supports scientists, mathematicians, or engineers in their work.
Science & Mathematics Pathway
People in this pathway are skilled at working with numbers, researching, statistics, problem solving, science, etc. These can relate to a number of different jobs—anything from teaching science and math to being a lab technician for NASA! The weather person we look to for advice on what to wear each day also would work in this category.

People who work in this pathway work with math, science, and technology in a way that helps solve problems and engineer projects. This involves design, development, and production. They work in many different places—sometimes in the field, or in labs, offices, industries, corporations, etc. Most all jobs and careers in this field require a bachelor’s degree or higher.
