What’s panaritium(პანარიციუმი)?
Bacterial infection, affects soft tissues around fingers or toes, typically near the nails. Starts: small, painful swelling.
Progress: intense pain, redness, pus accumulation.
What’s pandactylitis(პანდაქტილიტი)?
Pandactylitis is severe, often chronic infection, caused by bacteria. Affects all the tissues in a finger or toe: skin, subcutaneous tissue, tendons, joints, sometimes even bones. Symptoms: pain, redness, swelling, warmth, decreased mobility in affected finger/toe.
What’s difference between panaritium and pandactylitis?
Panaritium is a localized infection, whereas pandactylitis is more widespread, advanced infection involving multiple layers and structures of the finger/toe. Pandactylitis can occur from progressed panaritium.
Which is Thenar eminence(ტენარის მიდამო)?
Fleshy part on palm side of hand, at the base of the thumb.
What’s hypothenar eminence(ჰიპოტენარის მიდამო)?
The mound(ბორცვი) located at the base of the fifth finger(little finger).
What’s Paraproctitis(პარაპროქტიტი)?
სწორი ნაწლავის ირგვლივ არსებული ფაშარი შემაერთებელი ქსოვილის ჩირქოვანი ანთება.
