What are the early rehab precautions common to all post-op patients?
Respect graft/tissue healing, avoid excessive loading, follow surgeon protocol, patient education on ADLs.
What are the activity restrictions after lumbar decompression (weeks 1–4)?
No end-range bending/twisting and no lifting >10 lbs.
What is the rehab focus during weeks 4–6 after lumbar decompression?
Proximal stabilization and functional strengthening with restrictions.
What are important daily modifications post-lumbar spine surgery?
Log roll, use hips to compensate, keep essentials nearby, ask for help lifting.
