Describe the EFATO procedure. (10-5)

  • Beta target (BLUE BRICK) 2s more in ground + SLOW ROTATION
    • Rudder trim 10-12s
    • AP…….ON
    • Pull HDG
    • CONFIRM FAILURE (“ENG FAIL”, “ENG FIRE”…)
    • Silent cockpit till 400ft RA
    • OEBs + “My radios my controls”
    • ECAM Actions
    • “Engine secure”
    • “STOP ECAM”

**NOW SECURE THE ACFT

- Push to lvl off
- “MAYDAY / PAN call climbing XXX heading XXX”
    - A A A (ATC, Attention CC at stations, Activate S-FPL)
- Clean the aircraft 
- Green dot + PULL to climb whatever altitude you’ve set 
    - OPEN CLB + THR MCT (like act.app.ph + speed manage)
- Continue ECAM

  1. Climb on take off thrust till 800ft at V2 +10kts (SRS mode)
  2. At 800ft ➡️ THR CLB. ⚠️ V2 +10kts (SRS mode) AGAIN until 3000ft.
  3. Above 3000ft accelerate to en-route climb speed and retract flaps as scheduled.
