A

A

Ensuring the variables can be tested and defined in terms of how they’re measured
Eg pps should not just do ‘some work’,they should all be doing the same tasks and what the task is

What is an independent variable

A

The thing that is directly manipulated by the experimenter to test its effect on another variable
-the thing u change

What is a standerdised procedure

A

A set of procedures that are the same for all pps in order to be able to repeat the study
-eg standardised instructions
