the eye Flashcards
(7 cards)
explain the reflex arc
The sensory receptors in your finger detect the stimulus
The sensory neuron carries the impulse to the relay neurone
The relay neuron then has the impulse to the effector neurone
The effector neurone causes the effector (muscle) to contract, moving the finger away from the hot object
what is cornea used for
to refract light
how does an eye change in bright light
radial muscles relax

how does an eye change shape when objects are far
lens need to be wide
suspensory ligaments are stretched
ciliary muscles relax
