Penance

Definition: Performing an act (like prayer or a good deed) assigned by the priest to help repair the harm done.
Example: Praying for someone you harmed or helping someone in need.

Question 4

Absolution

Answer 4

Definition: The priest, through the power of Christ, forgives your sins.
Example: The priest says, “I absolve you of your sins in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”
