How did the immigrants impact FNs?
A
They overpopulated the FNs. The FNs pop. Percentage In BC in 1881 dropped from 52% to 5% in 1911. Most immigrants were prejudice against FNs and Métis and hunters killed the FNs and Metis’ bison herds off.

Why did JAM and Laurier want immigrants?
A
To fill up the prairies and west with people who would mine the minerals, farm the land and bring prosperity to Canada.

Why were Chinese immigrants hated by European and American immigrants?
A
Chinese were strikebreakers usually because they would work for smaller wages than other immigrants. Companies hired them to break the demand of workers in the case of a strike.
