Is what determines the responsibilities within a business.
What is delegation ?
Passing on a job to subordinate.
What is a hierarchy ?
How people are ranked according to authority.
What is a centralised organisation ?
Where most of the decision making is focused at the head office.
What is a decentralised organisation ?
Where the decision making is delegated away from central office.
What is a matrix structure ?
When individuals work across teams and projects and within their own department.
