What happened in the study- step by step?(Holmes-Rahe social adjustment rating scale )

A

Holmes and Rahe wrote out 43 life events that individuals may experience. They applied a score/ unit to each life event depending on the stress it may cause. Patients would indicate whether they had been through any of these events. Patients would then add up the score from the life event.
