- Runs latteraly to m.coccygeus and appears superficially by m.glutea superficialis
- Innervates reproduction organs, muscles and skin, anal and peribeal region

Innervates caudal rectum, m.sphincter ani ext, m.coccygeus, m.levator ani

- Superf: Skin of perineum and prox med tigh
- Profunda: mucosa of anal canal, M.ischiourethralis, M.bulbospongiosus, M.ishiocavernosus

Main extra pelvic continuation of pudendal nerve
A.pudenda interna
From internal Iliac a. Gives of A.penis - A.bulbi penis - corpus spongiosum - A.profunda penis - corpus cavernosum - R.dorsalis penis - tip of penis: • runs on the cranial side of the penis and pretty deep. It lies on the penis togehter with r.dorsalis pedis of the V.pufenda externa
NB: Put dog on its back - Put limb in the air - See 1. external iliac and 2. internal iliac
- Gives of pudenda externa
- Gives of pudenda interna
M.coccygeus
O: Spina ishiadica
I: Proc. transversus of cd 2-4 (tail wagging)
M.retrococcygeus
O: Follows tge smooth muscle of the anus
I: Ventrally on first few cd
M.levator ani
O: medial on body of ileum, dorsal on pubis
I: Cd 3-7
M.sphincter ani externus
O: Surrounds the opening of the anus, mixed smooth and striated muscle attached dorsally to the caudal fascia
M.Sphincter ani internus
Continuation of the smooth muscle fibres in the anal canal
M.retractor penis
O: Sacrum and/or first cd I
I: External anal sphincter -> apex of penis
