Rule out infection esp CMV colitis

If GI symptoms are due to MMF:

  • Reduce the dose of MMF
  • Break up doses of MMF
  • Change mycophenolate mofetil –> mycophenolate sodium / myfortic / mycophenolic acid (absorbed more distally & less GI toxicity
