Describe the different stages of triangular trade
A
-travelled from Britain to west Africa to the West Indies and then back to Britain
-the middle passage- how slaves were transported
When ships left West Indies they brought good back to Britain - tobacco etc.
-first part - outward passage, guns and pots and pans to Africa
-the slaves were sold in auction in America
-was to allow traders to make money at every stage of the trade
