How does the Supreme Court incorporate the Bill of RIghts?

A

They apply the liberties in Bill of Rights to state laws and actions to limit the powers of State Governments. They use selective incorporations made on a case by case basis to apply liberties from Bill of Rights to the States. The 3rd, 7th, and Grand Jury Clause of the 5th Amendment not yet incorporated.
