A

climate - a lack of rainfall or really hot means a lack of plant growth - this can lead to malnutrition - also less crops to sell - less tax paid - services do not improve
natural disasters - government has less money to spend on development projects and cost of rebuilding

A

poor trade links - less countries to trade with means less money made for development proj
lots of debt - after a natural disaster for example, this then needs to be repaid, sometimes with interest, leading to a lack of development

A

colonisation - the colonisers removed raw mats and sold back manufactured goods so the colonised country did not get the money, meaning inequality and prevented them from having their own industry
war - money is spent on arms - healthcare can be disrupted
