  • If you are at all born in the U.S
  • You take the immigration test and become a naturalized citizen

  • Force Theory: Someone over took the power and ruled over forcingly (Dictatorship)
  • Divine Right: Believe God gave someone the right to rule (Monarchy)
  • Social Contract: Everyone agreed on one person to rule (Democracy)
  • Evolutionary: Everything played out naturally and eventually someone became in charge

A
  • Participation: Who can participate (Democracy, Direct Democracy, Representative Democracy, Dictatorship, Autocracy, Oligarchy)
  • Geographic: Where is the gov. power located (Unitary gov., Confederate gov., Federal gov.)
  • What is the relationship between the Legislative and Executive branches: (Presidential relationship, parliamentary relationship)
