Mass is the central act of worship, it’s celebrated nearly everyday in the Catholic Church. Catholics are expected to attend mass weekly

What is the liturgy of the Eucharist?

A

Meeting Jesus, bread and wine are brought to the altar, then Eucharistic prayers transsubstantiate these into the real blood and body of Jesus. This is then received by the congregation

The priest greets, blesses and sends out the Laity to build a kingdom of God

What are divergent views to liturgical worship?
Some Protestants- Eucharist is symbolic and not the actual blood and body.

Ceremonies carried out when a catholic dies, carry on that persons journey towards eternal life with god
