3 Turnings of the wheel and Theravada ( Hinayana), Mahayana and Vajrayana
The first Jewel, Hinayana: The historical Buddha. Mahayana: Enlightened potential in all. Vajrayana: One’s own enlightened mind.
The second Jewel, Hinayana: Teachings of the historical Buddha. Mahayana: An enlightened wisdom potentially found everywhere. Vajrayana: One’s own enlightened speech.
The third Jewel, Hinayana: Monks and nuns. Mahayana: Monostatic AND lay community. Vajrayana: One’s own enlightened body.
Bodhisattva
A person who is able to reach nirvana but delays doing so out of compassion in order to save suffering beings.
Tathagatha Garbha/ Buddha nature
It means the womb of the one thus-gone
