Civilian Conservation Corps
relief project that put unemployed men to work planting trees, building reservoirs, developing parks, and improving agricultural irrigation.
Social Security Act
provide general welfare to the unemployed and elderly Americans. Security Act was meant to pay financial benefits to retirees over age 65 based on life time pay roll tax contributions.
agriculture adjustment act
passed by congress in 1933 producers of the seven basic commodities(wheat, cotton, corn, pigs, rice, tobacco, and dairy) would impose production limits on their crops to keep the prices they could charge for those crop ups.
