1
Q
Rock Cycle
A
Model used to show how different rock types are interrelated and the process that creates them.
2
Q
Driving Forces
A
The forces that form different rock types.
Ex: uplift, weathering, erosion, pressure, and melting
3
Q
What are the three driving forces?
A
- Earth’s interior
(The deeper you go, the higher the temperature and pressure)
- Insolation from the Sun
After searching up, it said, “The sun itself is actually an instrument of erosion! As rocks heat up, they expand. Expanding rocks can sometimes crack and crumble away.”
- Gravity
