3) supinator syndrome (sensory and motor)
4) cheiralgia (pain in hand) paresthetica/ wartenberg’s syndrome (sensory only)
a compression neuropathy caused by direct nerve pressure/entrapment at the arcade of frohse/ supinator syndrome and at the wrist for wartenburg’s syndrome
radial nerve entrapment
What are the causes of radial nerve entrapment?
-trauma
-repetitive movements
-lipomas
-bracelets, watches, handcuffs
Wrist drop is a symptom of what problem?
radial nerve entrapment
Avascular necrosis/osteonecrosis of the lunate carpal of the wrist
kienbock’s disease
-noncancerous lumps that most commonly develop along the tendons and joints of wrists, hands, or fingers but can also occur in ankles and feet
-typically round or oval and are filled with a jellylike fluid that glows when illuminated

What are the symptoms for trigger finger?
painful catching during finger extension
Spinal cord compression
myelopathy
Spinal cord generally ends where?
L1/L2 conus medullaris
Is myelopathy an UMNL or LMNL?
UMNL, so the patient would have exaggerated DTRs and other symptoms
What are the mobile/grip fingers?
pinky and ring finger
What are the precision/stable fingers?
4th and 5th finger
T/F: the thumb is involved with both power and precision and is innervated by both ulnar and median nerves
