Weight 50 – 158kg

17-65 years old (61 for new donor)

Hb estimation, 125g/l female or 135 g/l male
Must have adequate level tbat cope w/ vol of blood to be taken

Minimum donation interval (12 weeks (M)/16 weeks(F))

Not Pregnant (or infant <12m old)

Cardiovascular disease

Surgery/medical investigations/waiting list
