Q

Explain ion distribution

A

Ions move freezing across capillary wall ( Plamsa & ISF), e.g high Na in ECF & high K in the ICF

Q

Discuss electrochemical gradient

A

Ions are charged and the spread/ distribution of these ions creates an electrochemical gradient. Molecules moving down this gradient is passive transport, molecules moving up it requires energy and is active transport
