A footnote is a note at the bottom of a page in a book or article that
gives extra information about something in the text.
Onomatopoeia
when a word sounds like the noise it describes.
Hyperbole
an exaggerated way of saying something to make a point
● Example: “I’m so hungry that I could eat a horse.”
Obsolete
something is no longer used or needed because it has been replaced
by something newer or better.
● Example: “The home telephone has become obsolete because everyone has a
cell phone nowadays.”
