J.L. Chave, Mon Coeur, Cotes-du-Rhone 2022 (Purchased fruit from top Cotes du Rhone sites. Blend has more syrah than grenache with a touch of mouvedre. Sweet blackberry, black olives, savory)

Pago del Cielo, Celeste, Crianza, Ribera del Duero 2021 (12 months aged in French and American oak and then 12 months in bottle. Fruit forward, full-bodied, notes of both red and black fruit with an umami character)
