Después de caminar durante unas horas, me di cuenta de que estaba perdido. El bosque a mi alrededor estaba en silencio, y los árboles parecían más altos que nunca
After walking around for a few hours, I realised I was lost. The forest around me was silent, and the trees looked taller than ever.
Me había salido del camino sin pensarlo, solo por explorar. Ahora no había forma de volver.
I had left the path without thinking, just to explore. Now there was no way to go back.
De repente, algo brillante llamó mi atención. Era una llave pequeña y vieja que estaba en el suelo.
Suddenly, something shiny caught my eye. It was a small, old key lying on the ground.
¿Qué hacía aquí? La recogí y miré a mi alrededor. No había ninguna casa, ninguna cabaña — solo árboles.
. What was it doing here? I picked it up and looked around. There was no house, no cabin — nothing but trees.
Decidí seguir caminando. Por suerte, después de unos minutos, vi una puerta de madera escondida entre dos grandes rocas.
I decided to keep walking. Fortunately, after a few minutes, I saw a wooden door hidden between two large rocks
Sin pensarlo, probé la llave. Para mi sorpresa, ¡funcionó! La puerta se abrió con un fuerte chirrido.
Without thinking, I tried the key. To my surprise, it worked! The door opened with a loud creak.
Dentro, encontré una pequeña habitación con leña seca, comida y un mapa. No me lo podía creer — ¡estaba salvado!
Inside, I found a small room with dry wood, food, and a map. I couldn’t believe it — I was saved!
Marqué el camino en el mapa y lo seguí hasta llegar a la carretera principal.
I marked the path on the map and followed it until I reached the main road
Aquella extraña llave me había salvado la vida. Todavía la llevo conmigo hoy en día.
That weird key had saved my life. I still keep it with me today
