differences btwn adult and child/adolescent psychopathology

A

child is developing and changing (pathology at one age is not pathology at another age-ex. temper tantrums)

with adults the norm is pretty static

children don’t seek help thought they become anxious (child visits physician more often b/c of discomfort on part of parent or school)
