The woman who pleads Flashcards

1
Q

A

Allah (s.w.t) has heard the talk of the woman who was debating with you about her husband and was complaining to Allah (s.w.t). Allah (s.w.t) was hearing the conversation between both of you. Allah (s.w.t) is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

A

Those of you who declareظهار against their wives they are not their mothers. Their mothers are none else but those who gave birth to them. Undoubtedly they utter an evil word and a lie. Allah (s.w.t) is surely Most-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

A

Those of you who declareظهار against their wives then retract what they said, obligated on them is to free the neck of a slave before the two spouses touch one another. This is what you are advised. And Allah (s.w.t) is well aware of what you do.

A

But whoever does not find (a slave) has to fast for two consecutive months before the two (spouses) touch one another. Then the one who is not able to do so has to feed sixty indigent persons. This is (layed down) so that you believe in Allah (s.w.t) and His messengers (a.s.). These are the limits set by Allah (s.w.t). And for the disbelievers there is a painful punishment.

A

Surely those who oppose Allah (s.w.t) and His messenger (s.a.w) shall be disgraced, just as those before them were disgraced. We (s.w.t) have sent down clear verses. And for the disbelievers there is a humiliating punishment.

A

On The Day when Allah (s.w.t) will ressurect them all together and will tell them what they did. Allah (s.w.t) has its full account while they have forgotten it. Allah (s.w.t) is a Witness to everything.

Q

A

Have you not observed that Allah (s.w.t) knows everything in The Heavens and everything in the Earth? No secret consultation takes place between three but He (s.w.t) is fourth of them nor between five but He (s.w.t) is sixth of them nor between fewer than that or more, but He (s.w.t) is with them wherever they may be. Then He (s.w.t) will tell them on the Day of Judgement what they did. Surely Allah (s.w.t) is All-Knowing of everything.

A

Did you not see those who were forbidden from holding secret talks then they do again what they were forbidden to do. They whisper for sinful acts and wrongdoing and disobedience of the prophet (s.a.w) and when they come to you (s.a.w) they greet you the way Allah (s.w.t) does not greet you. And say to themselves: ‘Why does Allah (s.w.t) not punish us for what we say?’. Enough for them is Jahannum, they will enter it and it is an evil end.

A

Oh you who believe, when you hold secret counsil do not do whisper for sinful act and wrongdoing and disobedience of the prophet (s.a.w) and do whisper for righteousness and piety. And fear Allah (s.w.t) before Who you will be gathered together.

A

Whispering (for sinful acts) comes from shaytaan so that he may grieve those who believe whilst it is not harmful to them in the least except with Allah (s.w.t)’s permission. And in Allah (s.w.t) the believers must place their trust.

A

Oh you who believe, when it is said to you make room (for others) in the sittings then make room. Allah (s.w.t) will make room for you (in The Hereafter). And when it is said ‘rise up’ then rise up and Allah (s.w.t) will raise those in ranks who have believed from amongst you and those who are given knowledge have ranks. Allah (s.w.t) is well aware of what you do.

A

You will not find those who believe in Allah (s.w.t) and The Hereafter having friendship with those who oppose Allah (s.w.t) and His messenger (s.a.w) even though they may be their fathers of their sons or their brothers or their clan. They are such that Allah (s.w.t) has inscribed faith on their hearts and has supported them with a spirit from Him (s.w.t). He (s.w.t) will admit them to gardens beneath rivers flow in which they will live forever. Allah (s.w.t) is pleased with them and they are pleased with Allah (s.w.t). They are the party of Allah (s.w.t). Be assured that it is (the members) of the party of Allah (s.w.t) that are the successful.
