He let forth the two seas to meet together.

From them (the two seas) comeforth and the pearl and the coral.

And for His are the sailing ships raised up in the sea like mountains.

And your Lord’s countenance will remain full of majesty and full of honour.

All those in The Heavens and The Earth beseech Allah (s.w.t) (for their needs). Everyday, He is in a state of action.

Soon We are going to spare Ourselves for you (to reckon your deeds), Oh two heavy species (of jinn and mankind).

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا مِنْ أَقْطَارِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَانفُذُوا ۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَانٍ ‎﴿٣٣﴾

A

Oh generation of jinn and mankind, if you are able to penetrate beyond the realms of The Heavens and The Earth, then penetrate. You cannot penetrate without power.

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٣٤﴾‏

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّن نَّارٍ وَنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ ‎﴿٣٥﴾

A

A flame of fire and a smoke will be loosed against you and you will not be able to defend yourselves.

‏ فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٣٦﴾

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Q

فَإِذَا انشَقَّتِ السَّمَاءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَالدِّهَانِ ‎﴿٣٧﴾

A

So (it will be a terrible event) when the sky will be split apart and will become rosy like (red) hides.

Q

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٣٨﴾

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Q

فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُسْأَلُ عَن ذَنبِهِ إِنسٌ وَلَا جَانٌّ ‎﴿٣٩﴾‏

A

On that Day, neither a man will be questioned about his sin nor a jinn.

Q

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٤٠﴾‏

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Q

يُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَاهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِي وَالْأَقْدَامِ ‎﴿٤١﴾‏

A

The guilty ones will be recognised (by angels) through their marks and will be seized by foreheads and feet.

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٤٢﴾

A

So (Oh mankind and Jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Q

هَٰذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ ‎﴿٤٣﴾

A

(It would be said to them): ‘ This is Hell, the guilty people deny’.

Q

يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيمٍ آنٍ ‎﴿٤٤﴾

A

They will circle around between it and between hot boiling water.

Q

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٤٥﴾

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِ ‎﴿٤٦﴾‏

A

And for the one who is fearful of having to stand before his Lord, there are two gardens.

Q

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٤٧﴾

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Q

ذَوَاتَا أَفْنَانٍ ‎﴿٤٨﴾

A

So both of them having plenty of branches.

Q

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٤٩﴾‏

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Q

فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ تَجْرِيَانِ ‎﴿٥٠﴾

A

In both there are two flowing springs.

Q

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٥١﴾

A

So (Oh makind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Q

فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ زَوْجَانِ ‎﴿٥٢﴾‏

A

In both there are two kinds of every fruit.

Q

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٥٣﴾

A

So (Oh mankind an jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Q

مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشٍ بَطَائِنُهَا مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ ۚ وَجَنَى الْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍ ‎﴿٥٤﴾‏

A

(The people of these gardens will be) reclining on floorings whose interior will be of thick silk and fruits plucked from the two gardens will be at hand.

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٥٥﴾

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Q

فِيهِنَّ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَانٌّ ‎﴿٥٦﴾‏

A

In them (4 gardens: 2 high taqwa, 2 low taqwa) there will be maidens restraining their glances whom a man might have touched before them nor a jinn.

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٥٧﴾

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

كَأَنَّهُنَّ الْيَاقُوتُ وَالْمَرْجَانُ ‎﴿٥٨﴾‏

A

They will look like rubies and corals.

Q

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٥٩﴾‏

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

هَلْ جَزَاءُ الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَّا الْإِحْسَانُ ‎﴿٦٠﴾

A

Is there any reward for goodness other than goodness?

Q

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٦١﴾

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Q

وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ ‎﴿٦٢﴾‏

A

And beside these two ( جَنَّتَانِ) there are two other gardens (for the second category of the God-fearing).

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٦٣﴾

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

مُدْهَامَّتَانِ ‎﴿٦٤﴾

A

Both gardens are dark green.

Q

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٦٥﴾‏

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Q

فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ ‎﴿٦٦﴾

A

In both there are two springs gushing forth.

67
Q

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٦٧﴾‏

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

فِيهِمَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَنَخْلٌ وَرُمَّانٌ ‎﴿٦٨﴾

A

In both there are fruits and date palms and pomegranates.

Q

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٦٩﴾

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Q

فِيهِنَّ خَيْرَاتٌ حِسَانٌ ‎﴿٧٠﴾

A

In them there will be women good and beautiful.

Q

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٧١﴾‏

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

حُورٌ مَّقْصُورَاتٌ فِي الْخِيَامِ ‎﴿٧٢﴾‏

A

The “Huri’s” kept guarded in pavillions.

Q

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٧٣﴾

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Q

لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَانٌّ ‎﴿٧٤﴾

A

Whom neither a man might have touched before them nor a jinn.

75
Q

‏ فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٧٥﴾‏

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

Q

مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَىٰ رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَعَبْقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٍ ‎﴿٧٦﴾

A

(The people of these gardens will be) reclining on green cushions and marvellously beautiful mattresses.

فَبِأَيِّ آلَاءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ‎﴿٧٧﴾‏

A

So (Oh mankind and jinn) which of the bounties of your Lord will you deny?

تَبَارَكَ اسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ ‎﴿٧٨﴾‏

A

Glorious is The Name of your Lord, The Lord of Majesty, The Lord of Honour.
