Number one in charge of the command, reports to the Wing and controls how the squadron is run according to SOP.

Based on evaluations, both the number of and the quality of (early promote is worth more than promotable, etc) and the score earned on the advancement test. Evaluations take into account qualifications achieved, volunteer time, awards received, education completed and essentially what you’ve done at the command.
Describe the effects of Good Conduct Awards
Every three years a Good Conduct Award is earned as long as on your eval you have no marks below a 2.0.
Describe the effects of Eligibility for Reenlistment
As long as your evaluation average is above a 3.0 when it comes time to reenlist, you are eligible.
Describe the effects of Assignment
Good evaluations are required, as well as an express desire and a “package” is put together to be transferred to billets such as schools, instructor duty, etc.

To be an Aircrewman, you must be qualified, not only for NATOPS, but also for the command you are in. There’s a syllabus to follow so you can demonstrate the ability to learn the information needed throughout our spectrum
