Q

What is an example of a cell? Why are cells important?

A
  • White blood cell
  • carries out life processes; all living things are made up of cells
17
Q

What is the function of a box? How does it’s structure allow it to perform this function?

A

A box’s function is to hold items inside of it. Its structure is is with six walls so that the items inside are contained. It is harder for something to fall out unless the item(s) are dumped out.

Q

What are the differences and similarities between a biome and a biosphere?

A

A biosphere is the biggest level of organization. A biome is included in a biosphere, so similar ecosystems around the planet(biome) are included in a biosphere. A biosphere is Earth. It is all the different ecosystems and biomes on the planet. Everything all put in one.
