  • pain present upon palpation of lateral sinus tarsi opening
  • pain is more severe in morning and improves as patient warms up
  • swelling in area
  • pain upon passive inversion and eversion

Treatment

A
  • management of biomechancical factors
  • corticosteroid injection
  • Mobilisation of subtalar joint
