Occurs when the immune system reacts to specific chemicals present in latex products.

An immune-mediated reaction to proteins found in natural rubber latex.

Tyle I Latex Allergy (Immediate Hypersensitivity)
Type IV Latex Allergy (Delayed Hypersensitivity)
