14
Q

what is the special thing about cas12a

A

it uses grna, cuts dna and activates a second activity which is a transcleavage thing and then cas12a chomps all that ssrna

15
Q

how do we get fluorescence qith cas12a

A

it is becayse there is a quencher on one side of the ssrna and a fluorescence thing on the other
-with the trans cleaveage it cuts the ssrna and then there is no more quenching and you get fluorescence
