What does blood coming from arteries enter before going into capillaries?

Where is tissue fluid found?
The gap in between the capillary and cell
What is tissue fluid due to?
Hydrostatic pressure

What is hydrostatic pressure?
Pressure of blood from heart contractions, forces fluid out of capillaries
How does osmosis occur in and out of capillaries?
A loss of water from capillaries lowers the water potential so water moves from the tissue fluid back into the capillaries.
Where in the capillary is hydrotatic pressure the highest?
The arterial end
How is lymph formed?
Not all fluid passes back into capillaries and the excess needs to be collected to prevent tissue swelling
Where are lymphocytes made?
Lymph nodes
Where does the lymph drain to first?
The circulatory system
What percentage of tissue fluid goes back into the capillaries?
90%
10% is lymph
What is the difference between lymph and tissue fluid?
Lymph contains fats, more proteins and also white blood cells
What are lymphatics?
Blind-ending vessels found in most body tissues and join up to return fluid back to blood.
What is the movement of lymph caused by?
Contraction of nearby muscles
